Perhaps Britain is not objecting too much because they think that the prince might be the one to gain control of the entire union?

They will never be the "United States of Europe" because the governmental structure does not allow for free elections by the people.

So I can see some truth in the article that it could allow for an emperor to take hold of power.

GB needs to withdrawn from the EU immediately. It is a sinking ship that will draw every nation involved into a new dark ages.

We need to get rid of NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA which is a precursor that we are going the way of the european union.
