Sarah Palin has yet to be invited to the ball by presidential nominee Mitt Romney, the "ball" being the GOP’s nomination assembly in Tampa. As the 2012 presidential election heats up, so do the controversies and bad feelings on all sides. Newsweek reporter Peter J. Boyer wonders about the Romney camps strategy in angering the influential Tea Party during election times.

Perhaps it's hard to gauge whether aligning himself with Sarah Palin and her folksy ways will help him or hurt him in the 2012 election. Or perhaps it's in response to the fact that Palin has still not fully supported him as the Republican choice to unseat Obama.

Sarah should have ran for Pres. There would be some passion. Maybe we would hear a line besides the Republican mantra "we must have lower taxes and a friendly enviroment for job creators". Over and over and over..........

As if all that matters in MONEY! Thats their message friends. They either disagree with us on social issues or they are afraid they might hurt some libs itsy bitsy feelings by mentioning them.

If Sarah were running I would vote. I dont know at this point if theres anything Romney can do to get my vote.

I don't read Boyer's stories anymore.
Just a bunch of left wing talking and no sense.

Who cares? I'm tired of politicians living high on the hog on taxpayer dime.
