"Guilty as charged, we are very much supportive of the family, the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family owned business. A family led business. And we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that." -Dan Cathy, President and CEO of Chick-Fil-A

No big loss, really. CFA employs gays. They just can't be flamers.

Prove what? That they hire gays? Or that the gays they hire can't be flamers?

Right. Do you know why they are closed on Sundays?
When the Cathy boys were young their house caught fire. Truett was so thankful that his sons did not perish in the fire that he promised God that he would never again work on a Sunday. CFA's are closed Sundays so the employees have the day to attend church.

well if a gay is gonna act like a flamer then he doesnt need to be hired. I know there is gays who conduct themselves properly in a work enviroment. I have one that works at the same company. every once in awhile he will crack a joke but for the most part he is proffesional.
But if they are gonna act like a flamer and draw attention to themselves and in the process create a unhappy work enviroment, then they need to be written up and told so.No room for that behavior in a work space. after so many write ups fire them. Move on

"I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.' " Cathy was also quoted as saying during the interview, "I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about."
Amen!

I admire them for taking this stand, and they are one of my favorite places to eat...
