I don't want this thread to turn into detailed accounts of any preachers failure so please don't go there.
What I am wondering is does anyone know where the David Fuller that pastored West Atlanta UPC is now?
I know that he divorced and remarried another woman, left the UPC and ministry,etc, etc.
I am just wondering now that it is a decade or so later where he is and what he is doing.
I have not had any luck in google searches. For one thing there are three or four Pentecostal preachers with that same name.
The only info I have ever heard was about seven years ago which would have been about three years after his moral failure and I was told he was living in Dallas, TX and his vocation was some type of engineering work that he was qualified to do from before his ministry days.

A couple of years ago when I was trying to find the same info I ran across this guy and thought I had found him only to find out it is not him. This guy is one of the three or so other David Fullers in Oneness Pentecost!

THis DF is the one who pastored in Waco, TX for many years and is the Foriegn Missions rep for AWCF.
If I am not mistaken, the "Atlanta" David Fuller is in fact living in Dallas and is pastoring one of the works that Kenneth Phillips started several years ago. KP, I believe, has made comments regarding "restoring" DF to ministry.
Hmmmm...if this is the case then ther other guy that was pastoring the Dallas area WOP must have left because his name was not Fuller and he had been ALJC I believe just before taking that pastorate.
If sufficient time had passed since a moral failure and since it had occurred if a man had shown stability and no relapses I could see KP using him but I have not heard that this had happened.

I think you are right. If memory serves me correctly...I think he was/is pastoring a church in Arlington, TX. I also remember DF preaching for KP at one of his conferences around 2000 or 2001.

i think i remember something about him being in Tx too. i remember when he preached his last BOTT....."wounds that never heal" it was a great sermon. i still listen to it from time to time.

I'll have to ask my sister, but I think you're correct--I'm pretty sure she mentioned this to me.
I believe this is correct information. He is in Dallas. Ive met him here a couple of times.

The "Spiritual Purpose" section on the tabernaclepraise site linked earlier sounds like DF that was in Atlanta. He was quite a preacher. I remember the night he and his wife received the Holy Ghost.

The DF who was in Waco is not the DF that was in Atlanta. Are you saying that the pastor at Tabernacle of Praise in Kennedale is the DF from Waco?

I was with a x-upc pastors wife the other day who were dear friends with them, she stays in touch with David fuller and new wife.
She is getting his info for me, I have always loved his preaching.

New wife, but still in ministry???? That is troubling to me. I am all for restoration, forgiveness, etc.... but doesn't scripture say something like
a Bishop must be the husband of one wife.

An old bible schoolmate of mine used to assist him when he was in Atlanta and was pretty fired up about it. Last time I saw him and he died a few years back. Name was Bruce Robinson.

Well...not to justify any wrong doing..BUT the OFFICE of a Bishop, and the GIFTING of a Pastor are two different things....
