She has severe Crohns Disease. She has some complications and can't seem to find the right treatment.

Our DIL is home, Praise the Lord. On steroids for the inflammation, which should reduce the pain. She IS healing. But, they do want her to try to wait a while for the new treatment. There are so many things she can't eat, it's will be hard to get her weight back up. My husband grilled some hamburgers for her last night. Beef, especially steak is highly recommended for her. But, she wanted a hamburger. :)

I'm glad she is feeling better Cindy. It sounds like the doctors want her to get protein in her body. Beef is highly recommended for the L-Carnitine and the amino acids.

I have a lot of trouble absorbing nutrients with the condition I live with, especially proteins. My gastro intestinal tract is quite painful after eating.

I was researching and thinking about saving my pennies to try this grass-fed whey protein powder to see if that will ease my gastro-intestinal tract problems. It is a food that is supposed to be easily assimilated by the body.
