It's true.
But the Obama admin had them scratch a verse that mentions "Jesus Christ". But President Obama is a Christian. Cause he said.

I hear on internet talk shows that the administration's strategy is to give BHO the appearance of being the next Abraham Lincoln the next 4 years. :rolleyes2

I see absolutely nothing wrong with a group singing at the request of a leader of a country. It only says that they respect their President, at least because his position, if for no other reason; nothing more.

"Christ was born across the sea, As he died to make men Holy..."
It did not sound too minced to me.

Most of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir probably voted for Obama. No surprise to see them singing for him.

Heard it on ABC radio days before the inauguration. Just reported it here. Take it up with them.

You always have a excuse. Post a lie then blame someone else. I hear thousands of lies at fox but don't post them. Yes I watch fox. (as long as I can hold my breath.) It doesn't take long for the lies to mount up.

It is possible the report was wrong. It is also possible that enough grief was stirred because of the report that they walked it back.
You seem to have trouble understanding the differences between a premeditated lie and someone be wrong. I was shocked to hear that verse sung the other day, but was glad it was. I was glad that what I heard was wrong.
For the record if it makes you feel better I will say it: the information I received and reported here the other day about the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir being told that they couldn't sing the verse that mentions Christ at the inauguration proved to be wrong. I recant the report.
Have you tried filtering through the lies of this administration? I can find you a long list of them of you'd like.

Wouldn't a Christian remove a post that they knew was a lie?
I understand your reasoning for leaving the lie.The uninformed read and believe thus your purpose is achieved.
Truth doesn't matter.

Light, because I don't support President Obama and I am critical of most of his decisions and his political ideology you take offense and consistently accuse me of lying about him. I heard a news report on the radio about the choir. I reported it here. It either was wrong or the admin changed their mind. Whatever the case I stand corrected. I didn't lie. I reported what was on the radio. I didn't make it up. I didn't spout something I fabricated.
If you call me a liar and I'm not lying, what does that make you?

This is bordering on the ridiculous...:foottap
How much clearer does Deac have to make it...the report he heard was wrong and he recants.
That should settle it for everyone. :nod
