I remember when I came to the Lord in 1983 there was a UPC Bible College in Dover, Delaware & they had a choir that recorded some albums & someone had made some tapes of a few of them for me to listen to.
Well, those tapes are getting old & wouldn't you know it--a lot of thse albums are out of print.
I have always wondered if someone who had some of these albums or tapes, couldn't have converted them to MP3's & offer them for download, say, 5 bucks an album?
The prioceeds could go towards foreign missions or home missions, or even a building fund somewhere.
***SIGH***I miss some of the old music!:(

What is worse?

I got record albums from a man who came from Kent Christian College and one from First Apostolic Church in Knoxville and I can't even play them because I don't have a record player!

Church website for The Pentecostals of Dover. Pastored by Anthony Trout for approx. 15 years (son of Janet Trout). This is the church in Delaware that operated Kent Christian College from 1976 to 1996.

Dover, Delaware is my home.

Mind if I ask who you got our albums from?

I have a lot of the older church service tapes of the "then" Kent Christian Center, 1st UPC of Dover ("now" named Pentecostals of Dover).

Nothing like them! Powerful stuff.

I can finf no Biblical command against facial hair (beards) & wjite shirts only.
They are however, just preferences that I agree with!:thumbsup

Beard or not, what's really important is the doctrine that is being taught!:thumbsup

A few years ago, my husband and I were priviledged to attend some of the National
Music Ministry Conferences that JCM held. One year they had some older LP Albums
for sale, years 1985 to 1988, when Mr. Wolf was Music Director. I picked up 1 of
each of them. Still in their original wrap, never opened. I thought to take them
one day to have them put on CD, but, never have. My youngest son has laid claim
to them. LOL

They actually did a couple of compilation CD's of "Best of NMMC" a few years ago.

Mr. Wolfe was music director long before 1985 at JCM so there are NMMC vinyl and cassettes from all the way back to the first NMMC in 1976!

Somebody there came to the TCM to work in the ministry there. He made an album featuring some talented local girls in the UPC church here. I think the album was patterned after some of the songs of the school's record albums. One of the songs was "Abundant Life".

I will PM his name to you if you want to know.

Get the hunch these folks aren't UPC anymore with that goatee. That is just plain terrible!

He resides in Houston, Texas and I believe recently celebrated his 70th birthday. The original Lanny Wolfe Trio tours a bit still.
