Wanted to start a thread where people could post news links of the good guys with guns stopping a bad guy.

MLK Jr HS Girls Basketball Coach (70 years old!) shot two guys who pulled a gun on him while he was walking two basketball players to their car.

He has a CC permit and is a reserve police officer.

Glad both he and the two players weren't shot during the altercation; and that the coach was able to stop the bad guys from either targeting others outside, or from going into the school.

Well, some like Newt, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are trying to force the argument toward Chicago and it's gang related, gun control failure, but if you watched Chris Wallace on Sunday morning, you can see that many of the Republicans aren't helping this issue AT ALL! Chris Wallace needs to move over to MSNBC or CNN - democratic shill.

If the GOP put up someone with passion and truthful articulation, we may get somewhere in this country. Thus far, only Rand Paul seems to stand up to that. He can involve himself in the political jungle standing his ground. He doesn't allow them to push him to the right as though he is a crazy rightwing nut. I have my eye on him.

Anyway, I would much rather a strong male figure lead our country. Just my preference. I'm watching Ted Cruz as well. Will have to see who he will be in a year or so.

From an email I got.

A person steals guns,(WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), shoots and kills his own mother (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), transports these guns loaded (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), brings guns onto school property (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), breaks into the school (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), discharges the weapons within city limits (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), murders 26 people (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW), and commits suicide (WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW).

And there are people in this country that somehow think passing ANOTHER LAW banning guns would protect us from someone like this. If you haven't noticed, people like this are not concerned about breaking laws - they only care about fulfilling their own twisted agenda.



The only people that a gun ban law would impact are the LAW ABIDING CITIZENS, which will only serve to cripple the ability to protect ourselves.
