Prayer Needed Can't Contact Family Member [Archive]

Please be in prayer, got a call from my daughter. They can't get in touch with her boyfriend's Dad. He is a truck driver, phone going to voice mail and he hasn't used his credit/debit card. He should be in Arkansas. They are in contact with the trucking company and waiting to see if they can locate him.

They usually hear from him 3-4 times a day.

That is scary. I am praying that nothing is wrong and there is an explanation that will set everybody's mind at ease.

If the trucking company uses GPS to keep track of trucks they should be able to locate him and ask the local police wherever the truck is at to check on the truck / him.

I got a message from my daughter at 6 am. The trucking company got a message that he was having problems with his phone. And he is okay. Thanks for the prayers.

The poor guy was just not able to find a pay phone to call. And there was no service on his cell phone in the area he was in. It didn't take long for the trucking company to locate him though. :thumbsup

I haven't seen a pay phone anywhere in a long time. Do they still have pay phones?

Apparently not in the particular area he was in. He was in Arkansas.
