I had to leave my old job because the stress was becoming overwhelming. That was three weeks ago, and I'm still looking. My funds are non-existent and bills are stacking up. Please pray for God to open a door (or even a window, I'll crawl through the window :) ).

Well, a door has opened, but not the one I ever expected to step through again. My previous job was working at a convenience store, and a position is available there. Not the worst job in the world, but I eventually reached a point where I just couldn't stand even touching the booze and cigarettes to hand them to customers (I am completely disgusted by the mere thought of alcohol). It began to bleed through into my interaction with them. If this is where God wants me, I pray he gives me the patience to endure. Because God knows I lack it.

Please pray that my current employer increase my pay. I received my MBA several years ago and have not receive an increase in pay when in the past others received more compensation with less credentials.

It's my prayer that the Lord shall supply all your NEEDS according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Also don't forget to be faithful in whatever the Master has entrusted you with in advancing His Kingdom.

Well words are everything sometimes....

Miss Misfit just found out today, that federal budjet cuts have come to our door & funding for her Forensic TA position is now seemingly gone....

So feel free to add us in this prayer run, things were already rather tight...

I'm getting a little (and I do mean little) bit of work from my business doing onsite computer repair, but I still desperately need a regular job. I've got a couple promising applications (including my former employer, who I would prefer *NOT* to work for, if I can avoid it); but I'm still waiting on callbacks. End of the month approaching means that rent is coming due. I really need some income ASAP.

Well, I now have a job. Unfortunately, it's at the convenience store; but at least it's income, thank God. The only bad part is that the "training" class starts tomorrow (Sunday), so I have to miss Church (on Memorial Day weekend, no less). Still, the Lord provides, and I know He's with me wherever I am.
