Being sick as a dog today I did not get to go to church and wanted to hear some good preaching before I go to bed.

I have never watched Mike Hayes preach at Covenant Church in Carrollton Texas although I have surfed the site and watched the first five minutes or so of webcasts in the past.

Tonight when I went there and clicked on "archived services" I was surprised to see that they offer their webcast in 800k for broadband users.

Prior to this 500k is the highest bandwidth / quality I have seen on a church webcast and that is POA's archived material and the UPC offers it for a fee during GC.

This 800k quality is almost TV quality at full screen on my 20" widescreen computer monitor.

Here is the link if anybody with a broadband connection wants to check it out;

Naming the feed 800K means they are creative at best. I see they "upgraded" from 700 K back in April.

Here are the stats- yuck Winders Media.

320x180 screen size?!?

Kinda scratchy and not really crisp to view. With paypal for your offering, you would now be able to stay home and not have to watch this on those screens in the overflow room though!
