Good post. Hopefully no one will take this the wrong way, I know some will though, pure Islam is very close to holiness Pentecostalism. That being said, on the subject of prayer, Islamic prayer is very ritualistic and that is putting it mildly. They think it if you dont do certain things, your salah (prayer) will no be accepted. See them pointing their index finger and moving it up and down towards the end of their prayers as an example of this. Also you have to pray in Arabic according to them. Even though there is no Quranic mandate for this. I often wonder and ask muslims online, if GOD really gets praise/joy/pleasure from them repeating and doing the same prayers 5 times a day. I usually get nothing but super defensive answers. I enjoy reading about Islam.

O and the Muslims believe in the Psalms of David and the gospels in I am not mistaken. One other thing I dont understand about them, is that they are to make no distinction between all of the prophets of GOD per the Quran, yet they follow Muhammed and believe that his Sunnah(life) is the source of all spiritual law. Seems contradictory.

Right.
Pentecostals seem to have more of a relationship with GOD. I have never heard a Muslims say they have a realtionship with GOD. I have never heard one say they love GOD. Its seems that most of them have a respect, awe, and fear of GOD and thats it.

Why do you need two different threads with the same topic?

Muslims deny Jesus Christ.
That should tell you something.
End of story.
They are lost like all others who deny that Jesus is the only way to the father.
They are a lost cult, no ifs or buts about it.
End of story....end of a useless "religious" discussion.

They kill Christians. They execute other Muslims who don't worship like they do.

It's my understanding that they believe in the general message of the Torah, the OT prophets, and the Gospels. However, they believe that they have been corrupted by translators and early Jewish and church historians. So, they sift through what they believe to be error in light of... the Qur'an.
They see the Qur'an and the Sunnah as being the purified and final expression of divine will.

I don't. It was an advertisement of sorts for the actual thread in Deep Waters. However, people started posting here. lol

Even if we agree with you (and we do), it's still a worthy discussion for those who are interested in the actual topic.

Historically "Christians" have killed other Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Every "religion" has blood on it's hands.

Are you implying that those who do not embrace the traditional teachings of "holiness Pentecostalism" are not good and honest Christians? lol
