He committed suicide. His victims can breathe a sigh of relief.

they interviewed some of his former neighbors on the news tonight. Their comments across the board were that they were disappointed that he only spent 4 months in jail instead of at least an equal number of years to those that he held those poor girls.
I can't think that prison was a happy or even "safe" place for him to be. He would have been on the very bottom of the prison hierarchy.

Would it have been better if he had gotten saved before he died (and not by suicide)?

Maybe he prayed and told God the world was better off without him and God agreed. LOL!

Maybe. ;)
But still. My question. Don't make me start a poll! :lol

Um your question.....of course it would have been better had he been completely repentant. Not likely though, I suspect. I suspect he took the cowards way out.
My dad was shot in the line of duty as a police officer in the 1960s. I remember as a kid when he would get letters from the parole board regarding the shooter.
I had nightmares from time to time about that guy getting out and coming after our family.
my own experience tells me that the security of knowing the monster is dead far outweighs any desire to see punishment cause the monster to suffer.

Seems like common sense to me.
