In my ongoing efforts to help the music program at the church where I attend I am on the lookout for good songs in lots of areas.
Today I am looking for some good songs that are just full of worship, adoration & praise to Him for who He is and who He is to us.
I am finding a few and I am thoroughly enjoying myself today.
I thought that I would start a thread to share any video that I find along the way and, also, with hopes that you may have some to share as well.
I may be showing how far I am behind the times to admit this... but I have never heard this song before and I like it.
Here are the lyrics...
Great is Your mercy towards me.
Your loving kindness towards me.
Your tender mercies I see day after day.
Forever faithful towards me,
always providing for me;
great is Your mercy towards me,
great is Your grace

At CLC we sang that 4 years ago and it was already slightly old at that time.
Still a good song though.

I lift my voice in total adoration unto you
You reign on the throne for you are God and God alone
Because of you my cloudy days are gone
And I can sing to you this song
I just want to say that I love you more than anything
I love you Jesus
I worship and adore you
Just want to tell you that I love you more than anything
I just want to say that I love you more than anything
Hold me in your arms you are my shelter from the storm
When all my friends were gone you were right there all along
I never knew a love like this before
I just want to say that I love you more than anything

Good songs don't get too old.
Back in the 70's and 80's somebody would come out with a good song and we would sing it to death then discard it and forget about it. I wish somebody would resurrect some of those songs. The new ones they do now just don't seem as good to me. I don't understand people thinking we need a new song every week. Some of the new ones are musically inferior, in my opinion.

I remember being in Manhattan on business back a few years and I stayed over the weekend so I could worship with the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Their praise team sang one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, called Blessing and Honor, by Terry MacAlmon. We've started singing it in our worship services and it's amazing how the Lord makes His presence known to us.
Blessing and honor
Glory and power
Riches and wisdom and strength.
Blessing and honor
Glory and power
Riches and wisdom and strength
Be unto You, unto You
Who sits at the right hand of God
Be unto You, unto You
Who sits at the right hand of God
Unto you

Bump- This a song called From the inside out by Hillsong, if you have not heard it you need to! It's amazing
A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
my heart and my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out, oh my soul cries out
For you
