If this is your AS will you be able to sign it with a clear conscience ? i pledge to teach all Biblical principles, including the Ten Commandments, Baptism in Jesus name by immersion, with evidence of speaking an unknown tongue, ladies hair is to be uncut and they are to dress modestly not exposing themselves ,men likewise, smoking ,drinking and course language is not acceptable or God like.Viewing or listening to any Hollywood produced media on any type of electronic device is to be avoided. How many could sign this ? after all this is about as basic as it gets.

There were speaking known tongues on the day of Pentecost.
ladies hair is to be uncut
If men cut their hair once a year, that's acceptable?
and they are to dress modestly not exposing themselves
Are you suggesting Burqa type clothing for women?
,men likewise
Burqas for men?
,smoking ,drinking and course language is not acceptable or God like.
Scripture?
Viewing or listening to any Hollywood produced media on any type of electronic device is to be avoided.
Luckily, many movies aren't produced in Hollywood nowdays.

I would not sign this because it is not biblical.
no Apostle ever required their members to sign any AS.

Does the affirmation statement correspond to the 'letters of recommendation' mentioned by Paul?

:) I think I know what you mean but, to clarify, IF I were ever to baptize anyone, it would be in the Name of Jesus Christ.
However, I CANNOT tell someone anything or even imply anything to the effect of leading someone to believe that they are not saved until they speak in tongues-- known or unknown. The Bible simply doesn't say this and neither will I.

If this means that a woman should think it is a sin for her to get her split ends trimmed, then nope, I won't go along with that either. In fact, I don't believe it to be a sin for women to cut their hair unless their goal is to purposefully look like a man.
My conviction on this is based on the "IF it is a shame for a woman..." Just because it was shameful then doesn't mean it is automatically shameful now.

Jesus never condemned wine. St. Paul appears to have endorsed drinking, but drunkenness is definitely sinful.

Nope, won't go along with that either. Bambi isn't evil. Bambi isn't sinful. If a person wants to take up such a fast personally, I would encourage them to do so, but cannot teach a wholesale avoidance of Hollywood and technology as if it is a Biblical command because it isn't.
Another thing is the use of the word "avoided".
When establishing doctrine, why not speak in clear terms? Do or don't do and this is why should be the Christians should go about establishing how to live their lives to God's Honor.
