When Jesus comes what is the criteria for being part of his glorious Church?

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Eph. 5:25-27

So is there a possibility that some who believe in the coming of Christ will not be ready for it? That they will be rejected instead?

Yes, there is that possibility, but I believe there will be a dividing line before He comes. I believe that when the One World Religion is authorized, those not seriously seeking God, with their minds on pleasure more than God, will fall away.

Those that don't join the OWR, will be persecuted. And in persecution, those Christians being persecuted. draw closer to God.

Since Christ is coming for a glorious Church we know there is much to still happen before that takes place. The Church is far from glorious at the moment.

There will be a move of God greater than anything ever seen. Nonetheless many will reject it not realizing it is himself trying to perfect them. As Jesus said many will be offended and hate and betray each other.

But we do have the hope that there will exist on the Earth in those days a Church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish!

Persecution, tribulation, trials always brings one to their knees... which no doubt is what has to come in order for the bride of Christ to come to the place where there are no spots or wrinkles.

Heat is a purifier for gold, and persecution will be a purifier for the church, and has been already in many other countries in the world.

I agree 100% that htere are many that think they are ready that on the day of the rapture they will not go which is why i hold to the partial rapture view.

While some people are looking for Christ to appear in the clouds, I'm looking for him to appear in the mirror.

Many people are gonna be upset when Jesus returns and ruins all their glorious plans for 'the kingdom of God'.

Note where the action should be for the Christian:

7 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Col. 1:27-28

The Apostle labored to present all saints perfect in Christ Jesus. That must mean not everyone is. And yet to be accepted we must be. How often do you hear anyone preaching about being perfect in Christ? About being holy, without spot or blemish or any such thing?

People don't realize they will not be accepted otherwise. They will not enter the Kingdom Of God.

In short they will be lost. That's the heartbreak. People that went to Church. People that really thought they would make it.

Yet they are not going to be found holy, without spot, wrinkle or blemish. Men told them they need do nothing to be accepted. Just accept what Jesus did.

Yet the true Christ made it clear only those who do his will will be saved.

You know you got it HALF RIGHT. Everyone of us should be looking for him in the mirror. We must BE AS HE IS.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17

We must be as he is IN THIS PRESENT WORLD!

So yes that is true.

But to reduce the glorious appearing of the great God and Savior Jesus Christ down to THAT and deny his literal second coming is the most heretical doctrine I can imagine.

Your view then presents a case where one need not be holy and without blemish AND YET they can still be saved in the next rapture!

Actually Jesus taught if you miss his coming he shuts the door on you.

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matt 25:1-13

Jesus shuts the door on those who are not ready! He says to them I KNOW YOU NOT.

It is my understanding having once been a partial rapture believer they can then repent and still be saved.

The whole point of the parable is to BE READY when Christ comes. Afterward the DOOR WILL BE SHUT.

The foolish virgins were fools according to Christ. They took no heed to make preparation so they are barred from the Kingdom.
