I think this will be a very interesting video to watch or listen to.

You can understand some of the praise and worship songs.
You can tell when they are speaking in tongues.
I hope Dr. Ron Kenoly has a good translator.

I haven't watched this in its entirety yet. At work, listening to it now. In the praise and worship portion of the service.

ENJOY! :)

Well it is interesting. I question if this is a Oneness Church. He is teaching the name of the Father is Yahua and the Son Yahushua. I do like the fact that the women are taking the headcovering seriously. He makes some statements concerning the name doctrine that are pretty far off.

The group reminds me of the Ceylon Pentecostal Mission that I used to associate with. Its probably not them I don't think they would have let him get away with some of the things he said.

I enjoyed it. Did you notice the harmony in the music and the singing? Even when some were off-key, it still was harmonious. Deliver me from what they call music and it is just screaming and howling, until you can't even understand the words.

He brought in some different thoughts. I have read that Hallelujah, was the same in every country, but I did not know that “Jah” was the short name of God. (And I doubt if it can be proved by the Bible.)
He is right, that God is not God's name, but His Title. And all thru the OT the people wanted to know God's name, which was not revealed until Jesus came. But I listened to hear him say that the name was Jesus. If he did, I missed it.

YAH is straightly said to be the sacred name.

4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him. Psalms 68:4

So he did get that part right.

Practically all sacred name teachers agree YAH is the short version of the name and valid for use.

By and large the Churches in India seem more serious than the ones here. There are probably more Christians there than here.

Then they need to be sending money and missionaries in this direction.

Yah is an abbreviation of the name of God.

it is like calling
Joshua, josh
Margaret, marge
Christina, Chris
Michael, mike
William, bill

the actual name is YWHW. which has many variations depends on whom you ask, although the most common pronunciation is Yahweh.

Agreed on all points.

Really! Can you give an example. There was a "home grown missionary" (how a guy born and raised in the country can be a "missionary" is beyond me :D) at our church a while back. Got a nice offering and pledges.

They don't count...they're trinitarians. Besides this.....

Some of the distinctives are that fulltime ministers were expected to practice an ascetic life-style including celibacy, obedience to the elder pastors, communal living (including disposal of private possessions) in faith homes.

Comes under Paul's doctrine of "forbidding to marry".

Well yes but you asked in general terms to provide Indians coming here as Missionaries. I think we were discussing in the context of the posted video right? There is no particular reason to say that the featured Church is not Trinitarian.

I found the CPM group to be more serious in some distinctives than Oneness Pentecostals. Things like the sermon on the mount for example.

How can you say "Oneness Pentecostals". How many "Oneness Pentecostal " churches have you attended to be able lump them all together?

I have been Oneness since 1980. I have studied the statement of faith of numerous Oneness orgs and independent groups. Its true I have not known many in a close way BUT if what they present on the internet is a fair gauge of themselves I am confident I know the general mindset of Apostolic Churches.
