What does your name mean?

And do you live up to that meaning? Has it influenced you in any way?

Michael=Like EL

I like the name Michael. My friends call me Mike.

El himself is the judge of whether I live up to the blessing of being called by his name. It is my life to make sure I do.

Margie means "pearl". I don't know if that's something to live up to or not.

I was named for the old 1950's TV show called "My Little Margie". My dad chose that. I don't know why.

My name is Aaron, from the Hebrew aharon, with a possible earlier Egyptian origin. No one is sure what it means, although it is speculated that it means "high mountain".

So without knowing what it means, I cannot for certain say that I live up to it.

I don't know what my name means but I do know this... way back in the late 1950s, while looking out the window of a passenger train as it departed from Paris, France headed to Bordeaux in the south, I noticed a large billboard advertising a line of chairs manufactured by the "Lafon Chaise" Company. :)

I was named after Adam Cartwright from the Bonanza TV show. My father was a big fan of the show. I was born in 1963 when it was hugely popular.
