Ever heard of this guy? I guess he's famous? This

is my first exposure. Fairly lengthy, sorry; but aside from my natural misgivings @ 'gnostic,' which he arguably deals with, I'm finding little to criticize here, and much to recommend. Any dissent appreciated.

You might even skip to the 3 hour mark for the guts of his argument, which is that his prayers get answered, while yours may not, for the simple and Scriptural reason that asking for something that you do not have, or have not seen will never, ever work.

“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and secret proceedings… For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence – on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations.” – John F Kennedy

not that it has any bearing on the video, necessarily; but a good quote to remember in these times, i think.

I haven't heard of him

me neither, although he comes across as humble. the spoiler is basically that he gives the physics of faith--there's just no better way to put it. i don't know about 'secret,' at least to a believer, but it was powerful to me to hear God once again verified by science.

What science?

physics

it's defined as 'entanglement' by physicists. they are just getting hip to it really because scientists have been making a huge assumption for like forever--that the vacuum was empty--when they now realize that it is anything but.

unfortunately both of the video demos in this one are flawed; but it's the most comprehensive one otherwise. there are better actual measurement vids online.

These types of claims can never really been verified - be they Christian or otherwise, because the adherents will swear things are a "new" or different reality than that which really does exist.

Yes; i agree i'm not interested in joining, just in his description at the 3 hour mark. i'd say that it's more a shift in perceiving the whole reality that we know exists outside of our tiny band of visible light, coupled with what physics and math has proven about quantum entanglement. a reflection of 'faith,' if you will, from science.

i know the dna strands tightening and relaxing thing has been measured. 'is there a new and different reality other than that which really exists?' now begs the perspective from which the question is asked.

and this rabbit hole is seriously deep, too. it is gnostic in the end, i think, tho, ya.

or perhaps a better way to put it is that it can be taken gnostically, if one is gnostic?
