You Get New credit in 7 years, BUT ,Can you pay all your debt off in 7 years?
Do a word search in Bible on Usury ( interest).

Paying the minim on your cards is less than smart.
The minim really means is FREE CASH FOR the FAT cat, interest only is the minim.
I know one guy who had a credit card with only 2000.00 limit, but after a while with all the fine print, fines, over due charges, and membership fees, and fines and changes, he now owes them 4000.00.
4k and he has also paid the minim payment for 4 years. After the math we did, he has already paid them 3000.00 and still owes 4k more on a 2000.00 limit card.

How is having Credit cards CLOUT, or impressive.

It's not clout. Credit Card debt has ruined a lot of people.

Agreed Justlookin!! I run ALL of life's expenses through a variety of credit cards each month just to get the best perks like frequent flier miles, or cash back rewards. I haven't paid interest in years but I do get at least two round trip airline tickets every year and at least a couple of hundred free dollars to spend on vacations.

Getting free tickets is nice , but remember, the perks are to trick simple people into getting scammed.
90% of most people are not as structured or as smart as you are on beating the system.

Its like banks with FREE CHECKING, All it takes is a few hot checks and people are paying 800 per month in overdrafts on a FREE CHECKING account.
Banks make more on scatter brains with a free checking accounts than off a car loan.

This is what we do. Any balance on our cards is at 0% interest.
