I am asking if you would please remember my family in your prayers! My son in law had lost his job a few months ago and my husband had to pick up the slack until they were able to get back up again, but it seems like they have been stuck in the same place now for a while and so my husband is carrying the burden of 2 families and it is taking its toll on his physically and mentally. What is so sad to us is, if we were not able to carry the extra load, a 4 month old baby and a 13 year old boy (our grandchildren) would be the ones to suffer the greatest. All I am asking is for God to please give my husband and I the strength and ability.....and financially able to continue to help our kids and that God would help them to be able to get up and out of the hole they are in. I have learned to NEVER say *it cant get any worse that this*....... but it is very heartbreaking for us as we feel we have hit the bottom. We just need a lot of prayer. Thank you

I'll be praying for you.
I felt impressed to share this...
"Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." ~ Psalm 139:16 (ESV)
God is in absolute control. This is part of His plan, and this has a purpose even if you don't see it at the moment. The days of our life have already been planned. Nothing is catching God off guard. Nor is God worried in the slightest. All things in your life were chosen to be, specifically by God, as part of the process to conform you into the image of Jesus. Nothing can happen to you unless God has willed it to be. When we worry, we don't realize it... but we're often saying that we don't trust God's plan. We worry that God is going to mess up somehow. So often we get stressed because we want to take control of the situation or circumstance and resolve it to our desires and expectations... but most of the time we quickly discover that the control is being held out of our hands, and is reserved for God alone. The secret to peace is absolute surrender to the sovereign and loving will of God. There is peace in a life of absolute faith and surrender to the divine will. Why? Because all worry, responsibility, control, anxiety, expectations, etc. have been surrendered and given entirely to God. We live like leafs at the mercy of the wind... and it bloweth were it listeth.
Jesus once said,
Luke 12:23-25 (ESV)
23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! 25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
By worrying, fretting, planning, or struggling... we can't even add a single hour to our lives. Nor can we change a single thing before God has willed it to change. Surrender... and pray for God's will to be revealed to all parties involved. Once His will is found... He will open doors, inspire, and guide into the next phase of the plan. When God reveals this purpose, talk to Him about it. If it's a lesson, express openly in prayer to Him what you've learned. If it holds a higher purpose than a personal life lesson, something that will affect the eternal destiny of others, talk about it with Him and thank Him for being a part of His divine plan. Thank Him for this cross. Whatever God reveals... discuss it. Don't keep it to yourself. Don't just share it at the dinner table. Openly talk to the Father about it. He is a personal God. And sometimes He desires to hear us speak... because although He already knows what we are going to say... in saying it we give Him glory. We also speak so that we can hear it ourselves. And sometimes we need to hear it articulated clearly to let it sink in. And this gives God glory also.
This is an adventure. A journey. And the course has already been charted out. Trust the author and the finisher of this plan. He only has what is best in store for you and your family. Trust God.

No, sorry I didn't mean to mislead anyone. This house is not mine, I found it on the internet. I live in a nice warm brick home and I am very comfortable. Thank you for the concern. It's good to know there are people who care about my welfare. :thumbsup
This is inside my home and some of my family.

I'm glad all is well with you too, Miss S. - the avatar certainly looks very dejected and lonely!

Maybe it's time I change my avatar to a less desolate look.
It's nice to know you have concerns.:nod
