Admin- Is there a problem with smilies?

Perhaps this happened with the server change, but today I have seen at least two posts where someone quoted what another said and there was nothing else, but originally there was a smilie afterward.

And as I write this, the smilies that appear to the right of the screen have only three showing and the rest are lettering.
