3 teenage girls from Denver, CO steal $2000 from each of their parents, take their passports and fly as far as Germany before they were arrested.

The girls have returned to the US, but will not face any charges since they are minors. The FBI is investigating how the girls were able to access and research websites relating to ISIS/ISIL without raising red flags.

Hopefully the FBI investigates the parents thoroughly. There's no way these three teenage girls just up and decide on their own to join a terrorist group. No way. Most teenage girls are clueless about their own local news or issues, much less getting information on joining a terrorist group thousands of miles away in a foreign land.

Where did they get the idea? Have they heard their parents talking at home, possibly sympathizing with ISIS/ISIL? Do they have family overseas who are part of ISIS/ISIL?

I don't agree with no charges being filed, especially with one being 17 years old. They should be on a watch list, because if they were willing to fly to a foreign country to join a terror group at their age now, who knows what they will try to do when they get older.

I guess the only solution is to kill them before they kill themselves... or someone else.

Until this war is over we need to put all muslims in prevention centers.

we will apologize later after the war ends.

This is a crazy story, and while these girls did not commit a "crime" per se, they certainly had intent to, and certainly should be monitored and followed closely, and more investigation to see what and WHO prompted them to do this. Is there a "pimp" ISIS group working in the US convincing teenagers to do things such as this?

Maybe they should start an ISIS auxiliary for women.

Plotting to join a terrorist/enemy is not a crime?

Apparently not. They weren't charged. May be because they are minors?

Ok Bro,
What crime is the 15 year old girl guilty of?

Should we execute her because she thinks the wrong way?

Is there no chance of rehabilitation for her?

You mention her age as though it matters. Is there an age before someone can be tried for treason? Last I checked, ISIS/ISIL is a terrorist organization and enemy of the United States. That 15 year old girl is well able to strap a bomb to her chest and blow people up.

I don't believe there's any chance of rehabilitation for any Muslim, regardless of age.

Whatever happened to the charge of "treason"?

I believe it's been reserved only for white, southern, Christian, militia type of people. :nod

It does matter.

Just in case anyone doesn't realize it, my suggestion to kill them was me being being sarcastic, as I often am on here, with and without smilies and explanations.

So a 17 year old can make a decision to join a terrorist organization, take up arms against the United States and do so without any penalty? One was 17, the others were younger.

Please tell, at what age is someone able to be charged with treason or aiding and abetting a known enemy of the US and terrorist organization? 18? 21?

Kids in Africa are carrying AKs and killing people before they turn 12.

15 and 17 year olds know what they're doing. They made the choice, they need to live with the consequences of their choice.

I figured you weren't being serious.

Muslim teens can see this story and see that nothing will happen to them, so they can try to do it themselves.

Sorry, but these kids willfully tried joining ISIS/ISIL. They should be charged and tried for treason. And if found guilty, they should face the penalty, which in this case is the death penalty. Show the rest that this won't be tolerated.

Too many muslims living here have flown out of the twin cities in Minnesota and other places to join ISIS/ISIL. Something needs to be done to keep them from wanting to do so.

No. We should just implement Sharia Law and throw away the Constitution since that is man-made and the koran was given by perspiration of an angel.

I just told you what Crime they should be accused of or at least detained.

Are you nuts? Who said anything about executing them or rehab. Why would you rehab someone that was not guilty of something?

Your post is bizarre.
