2 NYPD Officers Executed in Patrol Car

Terrible news out of NYC today, with the horrible murder of two police officers. The killer posted on social media that he was going to take two cops out and referenced Garner and Brown's deaths. Then, after shooting the cops, he ran to the subway station, shot and killed himself.

I'm for holding cops accountable for deaths like Garner's, but I am not for killing of officers.

It's awful reading through the news feed on FB when ABC broke the news and seeing so many comments supporting this cowardly killing. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

A second slay attempt on NYPD officers was narrowly avoided early Sunday when a gunman's weapon jammed as he took aim at two cops outside a Bronx housing project, sources said.

Investigators grabbed the wannabe cop killer after he dropped his gun and ran into the Millbrook Houses on Saint Anns Ave. in Port Morris, sources said.

Not good. Two ambushes in 24 hours. Fortunately the one this morning failed.

That was dumb, killing police officers for Garner's death is NOT the answer. This only makes things worst.

The black man who killed the police officers had a history of violence, and his own mother was scared of him. I don't think that this is evidence of a deeper problem, but just a random crazy man thinking he could go out in a blaze by doing this terrible deed. Just my opinion.
