It was very nice visiting you all!
I tried to fit but i don't, cant explain it but i feel unwelcome. I tried to help, just expressing from the heart those things God has dealt with me in prayer and study. I guess all those things were right that I heard about this forum. Seems like the old saying is true ' if you really want to see a person get angry, challeng a lib, they'll show you what a bad spirit is" most have been cordial but its time for me to go.
P.S.

FIFY. Works both ways. Most cons I've known get upset and run off when challenged.
Ndavid go to elder Garrretts he is a Man of God.
No thanks. There are plenty other Godly Pastors without the extra, non-Biblical, man-made standards.

Well maybe calling the house church movement "Jim Jones" didn't exactly help. Most of the guys you were debating, including myself, adhere to the Acts 2:38 message. We are not Jim Jones. Jones tried to consolidate all power around himself. That sounds more like allot of pastors in the traditional Apostolic church setting, if we are going to make comparisons.

You ought to continue posting here. It's good to have a difference of opinion on stuff.

You're not unwelcome here. There are just differences in opinion. Our diversity is a strength, not a weakness.

God bless you bro. I want you to know I respect conservatives, and I am one myself.
However, the Lord has stripped me of my judgementalism in recent years.
I dress according to standards, but I am blind to the opinions of others' preferences and look beyond that.
I suggest you continue to dialogue here to get your thinking "out of the box" and see what folks are up to these days.
You need not agree with them, but I found on AFF, IRON, sharpening my IRON in the last couple of years.
This is a place to vent about something or disagree with the status quo, without getting immediately black listed by your peers.
Theres a lot more to do on AFF than just talk standards bro.
Try coming over to the debate room and watch me spank the preterists:smack...LOL

I wonder, what is it like to get white listed?

Have I one time spoken disrespectfully to you Bro. J? I don't believe I have. I certainly didn't get the same respect from you.
I do hate to see you leave. I don't mind differences of opinion, but enjoy and respect them. Hoping you will change your mind :)
God bless you anyway!

I can never understand why some feel the need to do a goodbye letter.
ndavid - any "standard" that you have is probably man-made...
Silimar to being in a confrontation on the phone and hanging up on somebody after getting in the last word.
However, I do think it's okay to let others know why you decided to peel out, before peeling out.
It's kind of interesting to me, because it's so commonly spoken in regard to pastoring in our "fellowship", how that the phrase man of God only appears one time in the New Testament that I'm aware of, and it is Paul referring to Timothy.
Also the the singular word pastor never appears in the New Testament, and once in the plural.
Although whomever can correct me if I'm off on that.
KJV anyway...

We are admittedly quite a "controversial" bunch here on AFF.
Its probably for the better if somebody says sayonara to save their beliefs. Their faith can be affected by our negativity.(not that negativity is wrong).
Its just not for everybody.
