It's the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The state religion is Islam. They have a Shariat court which determines whether or not Paki law is in compliance with Shari'a law.

So, Paki rule, in compliance with Shari'a (Islamic) law.

Sometimes I feel that a little persecution would not be bad for the church in America, this would get rid of a lot of pew warmers and leave the church with a stronger membership.

Suffering for the gospel is a pathway and direct access to the power that the Lord desires to unleash through us.

In Islam, apostasy (converting to another religion), is punishable by death. However, some Islamic governments allow non-Muslims to practice their faith if they are indigenous or have moved to the country for work.

The key is, were they Muslim before becoming Christian. If so, a death penalty will most likely be given.
