New Month 53 years

Yes 53 years in the church. I have no sad story to tell. God and the church has been good to me. Yes I have been disappointed but truthfully I have disappointed others. Still love the message, the church, the lifestyle.
I want to pass on what was passed on to me. Still fresh in my mind is the memory of going down in Jesus Name and the night The Lord filled me with His Spirit.
I visit here some read all the complaints and faults and failures of the church,preachers, message, well that is not my story. My faults and failures have been many but the church has been a constant in my life.
Never have seen the separated life as some legalism I needed to escape from. Still happy living like I do after these 53 years. Do not feel deprived nor abused.
I only wish those who are constantly finding fault with the church could have walked in my shoes they have been good years. I am a blessed man.

When I was new to forums (FCF, etc,) several were piling on you for your "ultra" conservatism, and I guess labeling you as intolerant.

One day on NFCF, you were posting in a discussion regarding salvation and I felt the presence of God so strong in your posts. I since ignored the negative posts against you, because I recognized that you knew God and that you "love" the Gospel message with every breathe you breath.

Always a joy to find you posting here. God bless and praise God for 53 years of service.
