Urgent need..whollyHis Daughter

This thread can be merged with the old one, but I wanted it to be seen so that I can have a prayer covering for my oldest daughter tonight...

They moved her Thursday from our local hospital, to the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis- they could not resolve her illness at the local hospital. They are still not sure what is wrong. She is in extreme pain,and has had no nutrition for eight days- nothing by mouth- not even ice chips. She is weak and they are keeping her sedated 24/7.

We need a miracle.

Please pray for Doni.

Doni ate some today- just light stuff, but it stayed down,and so far- not a lot of nausea associated with the new food intake. They still have made no diagnosis, and her pain still continues. They removed the morphine drip, and replaced it with a stronger pain med put directly in her pic line every two hours.
Every test they have tried, has failed. Either the picture was not clear enough to read, or she had barrium still in her system from a previous test that interfered with the ct scan, or xray that they tried. They are going for the back xray again tomorrow, and a endoscopic MRI. (A camera down her throat)...

God bless you all- I appreciate the prayers...we want God's Will to be done in Doni's life...

Sis, I know it is so hard as a mom to have a daughter to be so sick--- and not be able to get any answers. We are praying for healing for Doni. However if God chooses not to miraculously heal your daughter I am praying that he will guide the doctors to help them find what is wrong, so that they can help your daughter. I will also be praying for strength for you as well... Love you sis.

May the Lord God give wisdom to these physicians to find what Doni's

Doni was sedated today and had an endoscopic ultrasound on her esophogus and her digestive tract- this included all of her lower organs, and her pancreas...it came back normal. There is no damage to her pancreas from her previous pancreatic attack, which is unbelievable- we give God all the glory.They are going to do an MRI on her back tomorrow. They did an xray on her back today- we have no results from that yet...

The pain and nausea are still prevalent...we covet your prayers.

I've prayed for lots of requests on this forum, but I honestly have to tell you that I have never had a request move me so deeply as this one has.

I BELIEVE that God wants to touch your daughter. I believe that that is why the burden is so heavy. We need to pray.

Most Merciful God,
you have already paid the price for our healing, just as you paid the price for our salvation. We bring before your throne WhollyHis's daughter and lay her at your feet.
We know that we can trust you with this young lady because we know that when we hurt, you feel our pain. You care that much for us, that you would suffer with us. And so now, God, we ask that you would reach out your healing hand. Touch her. Heal her. Guide and direct doctors, nurses and technicians as they work on her. Show yourself mighty and powerful in this case so that when she is better - and she WILL be, I believe that! - the medical staff will have to stand in amazement and wonder and say, "it had to be God!"
Our desire is for YOU to receive the honor and the glory. Thank you for all that you've done and for all that you are continuing to do. We are truly grateful. And we ask all this in your most holy name, Amen

Sorry it's been so long since I last logged on, but we have been very busy...docs did a Bone Scan on Doni last Thursday. They discovered, when looking at the scan, that she had blood leaking into her right lung. They did an emergency echocardiogram to make sure it was not her heart, and that came back okay. They sent her home, with instructions to follow up with out patient testing with a pulmanary (sp) specialist. Her doc will refer her to one. The pain in her back is from a herniated disc and a compressed disc- non operable, and they said they would not treat the conditon with pain shots, due to their location. Too dangerous.

We believe God can heal. We are trusting Him. They sent her home late Saturday afternoon, and she is on 4 pain meds- stuff they prescribe for terminally ill patients. She needs a miracle- several in fact.

Thanks for all of the prayers that have gone up- we feel the strength of those petitions.
