It happened in the 1990 I believe, we were having youth prayer late nights on a # of consecutive nights, that particular night I got deathly sick, me, Nathaniel Haney, Michael B. and 2 girls, one which was killed would stay up late praying, eating ice cream and talking about God.
The girl in particular came down from Washington State, where when she was backslidden was involved with a big time drug dealer, so when she left to come to CLC he put out a hit on her. It was a professional hit, killed right on the front porch of the old church.

I have lived in my house for a year now and don't lock my doors to my house (whether I'm here or not) nor my vehicle. I sleep well at night too!
Edited to add that when gone for an extended time, like more than a day, I will lock it, but only because of my son's friends who might happen by and walk in thinking he's home.

Berk, I used to lock the car up and leave the house unlocked when I lived downtown here. Anytime someone was downtown at an event (they close downtown every Saturday in the summer to cars) they went to our house for the bathroom. My wife asked why I locked the car and not the house. So I stopped locking the car too!
My son in law was paying his rent and someone left their keys in the ignition of a Porsche! Some nice things happen in SMALL quiet towns!

Ever since Hurricane Katrina, we have been in Southern Indiana and we have had nothing but problems. It is quiet here, you have to drive more than 10 miles to get anywhere around here, and there are some things that have happened here that I would just soon forget.
In Louisiana, we weren't rich, but we didn't have to get on food stamps, but here in Indiana, we have to, because they don't pay much money here.
I don't like to depend on the government for anything.

Sew a seed according to the blessing that you want to receive. If you don't want to sell your home, don't send

into the blessings of God.. but you will not be blessed until you sew a seed..
