Please pray for Amazing Grace and her family...she lost her Mom last night. If any of you know her phone number, I know she could use some words of encouragement. God bless.

Thank-you for letting me know. My cell has been disconnected until I get a paycheck so she couldn't contact me, but I do have her number and will call this afternoon.
May Jehoveh Shalom bring her peace...this is has been a year of losses and changes for SIs. Theresa...praying for strength and comfort.

FYI: I just got off the phone with Theresa; she and the family is doing well. Her mother's passing was peaceful. Theresa was there so this gives her comfort. She asks for continued prayers and thanks everyone for praying for her and her family.
God continue to grant your peace...In Jesus name.

Please let Theresa know that I am praying right now for God to wrap His loving, comforting arms around her right now. I also pray that she will feel surrounded by the love of everyone here on AFF. Nothing can make this pain go away except time. And even then it doesn't really 'go away'. It just becomes tolerable. My grandma told me one time that we have two choices in life. We can love and then feel pain when the one we love passes on. Or we can refuse to love and thereby spare ourselves the pain of losing someone. I choose to love.

Hey everyone, I know I havent posted in forever because we dont have internet at our house and I am honestly loving it that way for now.
Thank you all for the prayers for my mom and our family. It has been rough but we are going to make it! She went very peacefully after 3 yrs of long struggle. God blessed her by letting it be very peaceful and for that we are so greatful. My dad is doing well considering. The services will be this coming Wed so I will not be on the net much between now and then but I had recieved phone calls telling me how everyone was praying (which I never doubted for one minute) and I just had to peek in and say a huge thank you all....

Well thank you Sir, I might just do that,,,, normally I would at least get online when I came down to see mom but the last month everytime I have been here I have just been setting at the hospital. instead of coming to the house. I might check in every now and then... and about the quiet part... how is that possible... your still here???? :sly

Went to the Funeral home last night for the viewing and A/G was doing well. Her daughter Jayden just cried her little eyes out. I didn't realize but these kids have lost three grandparents in the past year. The one grandfather is all that is left. This is too much grief for small children to bear. Please pray for the children.
The funeral is today so remember A/G and her whole family today.

Attended the funeral service for AG's mom yesterday. Very sweet
service, beautiful songs, sweet words from friends, relatives and her
pastor and former pastor. May this dear mother rest in peace and
hope!! In Jesus Name!

I want to thank you all again for the concern and for the love you have shown. This has been a very hard week but we are dealing with it.
Yes Sis Falla I thought the service too, turned out beautifully. She planned it well, It took some hoops being jumped thru to execute her wishes but it was accomplished. Her cousins flew in from AZ and OH to do the music,with the help of John Kershaw Jr. and all of her family remaining from Oklahoma came in and then Bro Murrell and Bro Kershaw and Bro Johnny Hargrove did her service. The kids are doing well considering as are dad and I. My aunt took it the hardest at first but she has since had her time occupied as Tuesday evening while we were at the viewing she got a call that her 2nd grandbaby was born that evening :) My mom wanted to see that baby so badly. But his entrance was just a few days too late.
