Very interesting article. It only mentions antibiotics sprayed on fruits and vegetables, but what about the antibiotics in the meat supply as well? Even when trying to eat organic food apparently we are still consuming antibiotics unknowingly.

ya, i try to get meat from ethical suppliers, 1/4 beefs from a local farmer on CL, eggs and chickens the same way, as i'm convinced that all of the protein available in a grocery store is corrupted. I guess most "organic" meat will say if it's "antibiotic free" or not, tho...
i've even become sceptical of the "organic" label, after listening to Joel Wallach ("Dead Doctors Don't Lie"), who posits that organic by itself is pointless if the soil is depleted of essential minerals. Gotta admit he looks good for his age!
hard to beat your own garden and a couple chickens, imo.

Are they becoming allergic to the actual fruits and vegetables or the antibiotics and pesticides on the fruits and vegetables?

I will have a garden again this year, and have a total of 6 banty hens. We bought 1/2 side beef from a friend who raised the cow just a few miles from us. I cook most of our meals, we rarely eat out, and buy organic produce from a company called Azure Standard, which delivers locally. Still haven't found a local source yet for raw cow's milk, but can get raw goat's milk at the grocery. We are doing our best to stay away from the chemicals and antibiotics as we possibly can, yet, even with that, because of the pollution in the air and soil, it is almost impossible to totally rid your diet of the "junk", but we pray and ask the Lord to bless our efforts. :)

Pilgrim's Pride... what is making you thank God for that?
I think it is great that you are doing the best with what is around you. It is a great place to start, learning to know as much as you can about the food you eat. :)

Does anyone have an old copy of "Pastor Assisted STudent-ORiented, Study Course" by Nathaniel J. Wilson? It's a 5 volume set.
If you do, please send me a PM.
Thank you ahead of time.
