Back when Bill Clinton was president, he used to go jogging in the mornings in the streets of DC near the white house. One day he happened upon a small boy sitting in front of his house with wagon full of tiny puppies. He had a sign that read "Free Puppies" attached to the wagon. The president stopped and asked the boy what kind of puppies they were. The little boy straightened proudly and answered, 'why, they're DEMOCRAT puppies, sir!'

That whole week, the president would jog past the same house, and there was the same boy, with the same puppies, and the same reply.
The president was so taken with this that he talked about this to all of his acquaintences. Newt Gingrich would not believe him, so the president proposed a little wager. Newt went jogging with the president.

They came across the little boy and the wagon of puppies, in their usual spot. President Clinton asked the boy once again, 'what kind of puppies are those, young man?' The little boy, looking prouder than ever, straightened himself tall and answered, 'They're REPUBLICAN puppies, sir!' The president was beside himself. Newt was chuckling, and straining not to laugh out loud.
"but yesterday you said they were DEMOCRAT puppies!" the president exclaimed.
"Yes," said the boy, "but this morning they all opened their eyes!"

OK, now ain't THAT the truth!

I am waiting for NOW to come out of retirement to post one of his rants about making fun of democratic women.....

Silly.

But if we are talking about women who are Republican versus women who are Democratic, I think this characterization is just awful.

And who says Dems are ugly???? Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, Julia Roberts, Keira Knightly... and on and on and and on... are we talking about actual politicians?

It's a good laugh, sure, but it's not true. Though I am not a Democrat myself, nor a Republican, I would like to defend Democrat women by posting this.

I think this sort of silliness is not flattering to the Republican Party. If Carrie Prejean and Sarah Palin are your trophies for Republicanism, that tells me how desperate the times are.

I have no dog in the fight, other than an opinion as another AFF'er. This whole thread is rather ridiculous. Superficial, ignorant and not even accurate. Even though it's not true, pat yourselves on the back for being the "part of pretty." :toofunny

I Feel Pretty

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and bright,
And I pitty any girl who isn't me tonight.

I feel charming
Oh so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel
And so pretty that I hardly can believe I'm real.

See the pretty girl in that mirror there
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face
Such a pretty dress
Such a pretty smile
Such a pretty me!
