So glad to be a part of this community! I am Misty, I'm 28, I met my now husband 4 years ago, and he is Apostolic.
I didn't know what that was and I have never heard of it or Pentecostal before, as I grew up catholic. He taught me all about the apostolic lifestyle and beliefs, and at first I was hesitant, thinking, this is too much, I can never live like that!
Over time though, my curiosity grew, and I started picking up the bible and reading here and there, and my husband had been telling me about this local church that he used to attend, (he moved out of town for a while and had just come back) and one day I said to him, why don't we both go to a service so I can see what it is about?
So that Sunday, we went. I never liked going to church before, but that day, I fell in love. I have never felt so loved and so much of God's presence. Ever since then I've been making radical changes to my life, changing where I go and who I hang out with, I've learned so much! There is still so much more I have to learn though.
Anyway, glad to be here!
