Thursday is Kids Day at Captain D's and we try not to miss it.
You can get (2) free kids meals (dine in only) for each regular meal you purchase. They charge $0.99 at the window.
Now the website says something different.
Thursday is Kid’s Day at most Captain D’s restaurants. Kid’s meals are just $.99 with an adult meal purchase. Dine-in only. Check with your local restaurant for details.
At several around here it is free inside and $0.99 at the window.
Anway... don't miss Captain D's Kids Day if you have kids.
We can feed our family of 5 for less than $15.00

I just don't care for the stuffed crab. I give that to my wife. She likes it.
How to see if there is one near you.

I guess if you like imported seafood and stuff that is suppose to look like seafood flips your boat, then enjoy it with all the passion that you can.

I'm not a fan of the fries at LJS... they're never crispy and always soggy and tasteless.
I love everything else though. :)

It's been so long since I ate there... and I've changed my eating habits quite a bit that it'd probably do the same to me now...

If they came out with a filet that wasn't deep fried, with all that breading, maybe something like a grilled seasoned filet I might could go for it.

Fish not deep fried?
That is an abomination here in the south. :)

I was going to say that more people go during lent to eat fish so the fries don't have long to sit around and get soggy :sly

I am strangely torn between how shocking OR how fascinating it would be to see my apostolic brethren enjoying a restaurant meal "with all the passion that they can"
for some of the folks I have spent a Sunday afternoon with at a few buffets....the visual of "all the passion that they can" would result in county authorities being invited on to the premises.:killinme
