How do I set a timer for a sprinkler system? I accidentally unplugged it, I got it to work for the back yard, but the sprinkler in the front yard is not going!!!

Berk, Google and find the manufacturer has directions on how to set the timer. Or go down to Home Depot and ask.

You serious? I plugged it back in and it is worked to turn on the sprinklers out back. I'm thinking, maybe I don't know how to program it. I can't get the sprinklers in the front yard to go.

Berk,
This is an easy one! Do what I do -- just keep pushing buttons until stuff happens. Then make your service call. That way, you get your money's worth and the service guy actually works. Otherwise, he will push one button and look at you like "you big dummy!" If you have pushed all the buttons, he will be impressed!:sly:heeheehee:heeheehee

okay, so it waters in cycles... there were two sets of sprinklers in the back yard, one started when the other stopped..
so I decided to check each 'zone' manually... and nothing.. the front is not being watered!!! ugh!!

Arph just left from here... he saved the day! I feel so stupid! The front sprinklers do run on a different timer, but for some reason they have not been turned on since the lady left for Germany... and I did not get anywhere near it!! So, I can not be blamed for that!!!:lol

I didn't break these... lol.. they are old and it just so happens that they are giving up the ghost during my stay here.
One summer I stayed with my aunt at the naval air base. I knocked some things off her wall.
I ripped the end border off of a blanket.. I broke a drinking glass... I messed up the shower door..

yeah, you want to flood it, since it hasn't watered for awhile, you might want to fertilize it in a week or so too, nitrogen based stuff will get it green again.
use lots of water, especially in this heat.

Calm down and pray! Go lay your hands on the sprinkler timer and call on the Lord! :tumbleweed
Grab a hammer and a screwdriver. There isn't much you can't fix with a hammer and a screwdriver! :D

Hehehehehe! This reminds me of this one brother that was really prone to accidents. Anyway, once, back at this one church I used to belong to, we were redoing the platform and he was trying to hammer a nail in. He swung the hammer up and hit himself squarely in the forehead with it! :killinme:killinme:killinme:killinme We laughed so hard when he did that we couldn't get any work done for at least 10 minutes or so. Then, after it happened, he was never able to live it down! :killinme:killinme
