Twice, I was asked to look at Network Marketing- you know the folks who failed at Amway instead bought into another miracle money scheme?

One catch phrase was "I cannot wait for the day I can fire my boss?"

Would you fire your boss if given half a chance?

Those with single employee self employed business need not respond! :killinme

In a second!!!!!! You would understand completely if you worked for him, he is a great "boss" he lets you do whatever you want but he does NOT work and is very Negative!! Everyone on campus knows he is a loser and our office gets no respect around here. I have been wishing he would get replaced by someone more motivated for quite awhile.

We are hosting a family reunion tomorrow at my house and about ten of the forty or fifty people coming arrived last night about midnight.

After getting in bed about 2 am I woke up to a huge work crisis that has had me glued to my laptop in my home office while almost everybody else is either in the swimming pool or watching a movie in the Home Theater. Everybody's having fun but me!!!!!

I wanted to jazz up another "it is Fridan" thread.

I guess I don't have that Thad-nack for starting great threads. :lol

I've only done that once, I'm not a good people manager... I set my standards too high and people do not enjoy working for me... especially the ones who get to work 30 minutes late and then still spend another 20 minutes getting their coffee while I got to work 30 minutes early and have all the morning emergencies taken care of by the time they get to their desk... I also rarely get sick and have a problem with people who always seem to get sick during crunch time... or cases where there are males and females in the same position but one of them doesn't believe it is their job to lift anything so they say, "I'll have one of the guys come and get that"... Chivalry doesn't apply if you are both being paid to do the same work. lol.

Nope... I wouldn't be a good boss. :D

Now I work from home so I don't have anyone to boss around except for my dogs, and you know who runs the house around here. lol.

considering that fireing my boss would mean loosing my benifits....and my wife has none to be an alternative....and considering that I am still in recovery form serious back issues and not out of the woods yet...that half a chance would have to be a pretty good half!

I AM the boss of quite a few - but yes, I have someone above me (in another location)....He's not in my office and he is one of the nicest people anyone could ever know - courteous, well-organized, etc. ...He would not ask me to do a task that he wouldn't do . He's even visited CC1's church and liked it!
