You ever been so sick or weak that prayer is almost impossible? Just the last couple weeks I have been on a spiritual high as it were (yeah I know rather arrogant of me eh?) and then last saturday I started feeling sick. Sunday I felt worse and was prayed for.
I did feel somewhat better but I have felt out of energy and sometimes queazy in the stomach. My pastor too came down with something he thinks might be the flu. Perhaps it is not as bad for me since I get the flu shot every year.
But I have not felt terribly bad like when you get a full blown flu, but still I feel just wiped out. I hate feeling like this mostly because prayer just seems so hard to do as I regularly do.
I tried some tea and now I am thinking of some coffee. One thing that is funny though. In over 20 years of walking with the Lord I have experienced this a number of times...just as it seems things were really starting to move more in the Spirit I get some cold or something that derails me for a week or more

Unlike others, I rarely give the devil credit for anything. Who knows why this happens or maybe it just happens. Everyone gets sick to some degree or another every now and then. Being a dialysis patient though does not help here

Right, I didn't mention the debil for a reason. :) Maybe you just feel a huge "breakthrough" because you come out of such a lowly state. ???

Oh no. Was on a fast and had the Lord lead me in prayer. We had some really powerful services and a number get baptized and filled with the Spirit. Had a service with two prophecies and other gifts in operation. You can tell there was a turning point

I think it is the debbil. We have an enemy. Do you think he is just going to stand by and watch as you and your church are being blessed? We are not ignorant of his devices.
