I don't trust polling or the news media to tell us the truth . . . .

This "Trump leaked" story is already debunked. It did not happen. But since when does the media tell the truth.

I cannot recall a President who has had to endure such media driven nonsense as this man. His election was so dramatic that it even led Fox News to shed their façade of conservatism and completely reject their customer base. FNC never expected their viewers to rebel against the establishment to this extent and FNC management probably felt partly responsible for this rebellion by allowing a conservative network to even exist. So now they are willing to suffer financial loss to undo their evil deed. What they fail to see is that they never shaped anyone's opinion to begin with. FNC viewers possessed their own opinions long before FNC ever showed up and we will not abandon our principles just because some network changed its message.

Two years ago I predicted Trump would be nothing more than a reprieve. I was right. Look at how the establishment is fighting him and US on things like Obamacare and immigration. In the end, only the States will be able to stop this onslaught. I still maintain that it will require the shedding of blood to save this country. Saying that causes some Christians to gasp. My question to them is, how would you have treated our Founding Fathers? Get real, folks! Blood will be shed whether we fight or not! It will be our blood or theirs. There will b no rapture to save you.

A lot of it is Trump's own doing. His tweets are the biggest problem. He behaves as an impetuous child, not a POTUS.

That's debatable. It was this "realness" that garnered allot of his support, though I agree he takes it too far at times. But even if Trump was more dignified, they'd still be trying to destroy him based simply on the perceived threat to their rule he portrays.

I am actually Post-Trib, though I find partial-preterism interesting. I believe Christ is yet to come. But there will be no pre-trib rapture to save us from having to take up musket and powder to fight for freedom in this life.

Amen.

I am with you on that!

But fear is a powerful motivator so that is why they use it.

A person can be "real" and Presidential without the tantrums, veiled threats and lies.

I do agree that even if Trump weren't tweeting and even if he was well behaved and temperate, the press would still be doing all it could to rip him apart.

The press is incredibly awful and dishonest. Unfortunately Trump gives them a ton with which to use as ammo against him.

What amazes me is had obama said or tweeted half the things Trump has, conservatives and the GOP would be incensed about it. Or had obama's administration had so many leaks of internal strife, conservatives and the GOP would be right where the Dems are now.

To me, Trump's flaw is that he is not ideologically driven. To him, his agenda is common sense based, and the fact that is ideologically conservative (much of it, anyway) is purely incidental. Sadly, this lack of ideological perspective keeps him blindsided about the evils of the Democrats and RINOS. This is why in the end he might be destroyed in trying to take them down. If Fox News is willing to dump profits and settle for 3rd place below the once floundering MSNBC, and if ABC is willing to dump the 2nd most popular show on TV because its conservative, there is no telling what other extreme measures the left will soon go to in order to smack the Trump voters back into line.

Good analysis of Trump's agenda.

The left's new tactic includes confronting GOP anywhere they are, including at home. It also includes the usual threats and violence.

Remember Gabby Giffords, House Rep from Tucson who was shot years ago?

A man who works at a Tucson school was just arrested by the FBI for threatening GOP Rep Martha McSally. He left several voicemails, claiming her days were numbered and outright claimed he was going to shoot her.

Sadly this is becoming the norm for conservatives and Republicans.
