I assure you this is NOT what we want, but instead of trumpeting this in the future, a PM or phone call would work better.

I think I got them removed for now.

Also blocking software helps.

The ads were supposed to be only the Gospel Music area.

I was on my computer at work, so there is not much I can do from the stand point of changing settings.

My reaction was one, Am I actually seeing this!

I never notice because I ignore most ads anyways....sorry google, amazon :-)

Amazon will not be offered after I can uncode the links.

Someone at 2:30 today complained of improper ads. Seems to get the junk in there, the advertisers code some "music" as legit, when it is products otherwise.

Unfortunately, Amazon has been pushing a number of link types where "Amazon chooses the content."

Easy to use, but if you want control the safest things are links such as links to search results (where you set up the search) or to individual products.

This problem has been discussed off and on for months

Again, my humble apology. I did not intend for this to happen at all. I have worked to move the Google Ads to the bottom of the pages to not interfere as little as possible. I am removing ads not closely Apostolic in nature, and we will also see the ads change over time.

We will see the Firefox download remain, as it is Google sponsored. it will not remain Top Left.

I never noticed either...but...(Boom trust me this isn't a slam, I understand all that you have to do daily to keep this site up and running)....It kind of tickled me when I read this thread. It's pretty ironic considering the whole TV/Internet argument which always ends up with someone defending their ability to filter our their internet content while on TV you can't...yet...inappropriate ads show up on the Apostolic site that it is being argued on...ironic fo sho!

Well, ads well that ends well.

Understand that though running a forum is a labor of love, affiliate programs on sites do two things, they add a revenue stream to the site, and they increase the sites search engine rankings.

Don't bash BOOM over the amazon thing. If any fault lies, it lies with amazon.

Nope. missed that. It probabley went the same place as your donation check.
HEY, NOTHING IS FREE. Anything that is free for you to enjoy costs someone something. Don't get all up in arms when the someone try's to recoup expenses,

I didn't see them and do not know the content, but never would I imagine it was your intent for it to happen.

No need to apologize here...
