My son just called and said this afternoon the guy that lives two floors above me was broken into today. There were police and a detective there investigating.

I live on the bottom floor so it's visible to the parking area and folks walking around and I do have a dog (she's harmless, but hopefully her bark would scare someone off).

I'm not a scared type person, but this is too close for comfort out of all the units in my apt. complex why did it have to be my unit.

Just pray a shield of protection around me and my only worldly possessions.

I'm moving in August - - none too soon, apparently.

amen Sister I will be praying for you.I feel led to share something with you.Hopefully it will give you a feeling of security. My husband years back drove a cab for Yellow Cab.He was gone at night alot. One night after we
got back from church I was exhausted.I lay down and heard the Lord speak to me."Go and throw the dead bolt" I answered Jesus I am so exhausted could it just wait until the morning the handle lock is locked.I heard it again and with more of an urgency. So I got myself up and went to the door and there was a man at the door breaking into my house. He was just about it and I slammed it shut and threw the dead bolt and the light on and called the cops.
WOW that was close.Jesus however would not leave me alone.I am so thankful that angels are watching over me.

Wow....I know God does take care of us - that's why I have posted this to have others help hold me up in prayer too!

Night before last I was in a dream/half awake stage and felt this icky feeling that I have only experienced one other time in my life - it was like a spirit was in my room. I was singing in my mind "Blessed Assurance" and I said "In Jesus Name" and went right back to sleep.

I thought about this when my son called me today - - not sure it had anything to do with what happened today, but I do know that all we have to do is call on his NAME and we have the assurance that HE will be there for us!

Wow, Renda. That is scary. Usually the bottom floors are the easier hits. I remember living in an apartment in San Antonio. The security guard lived next door. Someone stole all four tires and mags off of my LeMans.

Oh, sorry......

Praying for you! Hehehehe!

If only you had not cut your hair.......... :haloplug

I'm really praying. If the apartment was two floors up and was broken into - chances are the robber knew the tenant and what he had in the apartment.

I have experienced something like this before also once when I was alone. Weird!! It drove me to pray until I felt at ease - it always makes ya wonder what was going on though.

Seriously, I didn't feel any alarm in my spirit when I read your post. You have too many people that pray even before you ask! :friend

Sis. Renda,

I posted last night just as I was leaving for church. I must have not

sent it as I didn't see it here this morning! lol

I asked our great Lord God to not only keep His mighty Hand of

protection on you but to remove any fear that would try to take

you captive, in Jesus Name! I believe He took care of the situation

for He saw the prayers that were prayed on your behalf!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Thanks again, everyone! Yes, I will be fine because my trust is in HIM!

I had no fear last night whatsoever and slept like a baby!
