Most of these cruises have a "if you can't beat them join them" spirit.

How do you know? Have you been on one or have direct contact with someone who has? I am just curious.

I know many who have attended these and it seems like the best way to do a cruise if you are into that kind of thing!

Yeah. I didn’t see anyone in the water or jet skiing in a skirt.

Sounds like they are chartering the cruise ship so they don’t have to worry about all that kind of stuff.

Are they chartering the island and beaches as well? The ship will be making a few stops. Snorkeling. Jet skiing. ATV on the beach.

I would be shocked if they are chartering a cruise ship as even the older smaller cruise ships hold over 1,000 passengers and most today at least 2,000 people.

There are a lot of different groups on public cruises and I am guessing this is one of them for whatever cruise they are booked on. As a group they can reserve meeting space and if the group is big enough even private time in the main theater for music, church services, etc.

From what I have heard, there are usually at least 500 Apostolics and they do hold church services.
A cruise is not my cup of tea, but even with my friends at work they have grown in popularity over the last 10 or so years.
If some of you remember, there was a cruise ship that was in the middle of the Gulf (I think it was the Gulf), without power, a few years ago.
I had several Apostolic friends on that one as well!
I thought that was a sign from God for us to stay off of them!!!!

Apostolics should just stick with cruises through the Everglades on an Airboat.

Seriously,
Do they use the fun water festivities or just set by and watch? That's sick too.
They don't dance, drink wine or alcohol...so just what do they do?
March around the walls of the ship?
I'd really like to hear from someone that's been there.

I have never been, but have many friends who have.
There are activities set up for the apostolics on the cruise.
I used to have the opinion that cruises were basically set up for debauchery or degenerates.
However, even before the Apostolics at sea started, I had many work peers who started taking their families on cruises.
Evidently, different cruises are targeted at different demographics.
It's not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal.

They can have a Bible quiz competition.

Peanut brittle cooking contest.

Fun raiser walkathon around the decks.

Apostolic sing off.

Theological debate :)

I would skip all of the above and go fishing.

You can't hear from someone who has been there. Because they are no longer in the church.

People need to be nicer. Mark may be super duper ultra con, but he doesn't handle bashing well. He's kinda sensitive..

We love travel in general and cruise ships in particular. My favorite cruises are transatalntic crossings. After the hustle and bustle of work and just life in general i love days at sea with ocean as far as the eye can see. We have done four of those as well as a Pacific ocean cruise from Hawaii to California.

We took a four year break from cruising but are making up for it. Did a 7 night Eastern Caribbean one the Sunday after Thanksgiving 2018, next month (April 2019) will be on a 7 nifght Western Caribbean one, then this September a 9 night Greek Island cruise combined with six nights in Italy beforehand. Last but not least for a special anniversary trip next year in May 2020 a 15 night cruise that goes first to the Caribbean then across the Atlantic to England.

Cruises are actually one of the most economical vacations if you know how to shop for them and when to book them. By booking the least expensive staterooms, interiors, we are able to go on more cruises. We started out only booking balcony's but tried an interior once and for half the price or less of a balcony we liked it just fine. With no window to let light in you can nap during the day or sleep late. The exception will be next years big 15 night cruise where I am splurging for a junior suite as it is a special wedding anniversary celebration.

Around where I'm from, I know of some Apostolic churches that have had some of it's congregation to aboard the Apostolics at Sea cruise. I vaguely know some of these people, but not nearly well enough to ask them about their experience, if they'd recommend it, or if it was a mess.
