POTUS extended CDC guidelines through the end of April. Gov. Ducey, here in AZ, had been trying to keep things open while being cautious. But he finally announced a stay in place order. Phoenix is regulating hiking trails and Mesa has shut down parks, due to people going out too much. Sunday afternoon, we received the news we figured was coming -- public, private and charter schools are closed for the rest of the school year.

Forcing people to remain in their homes for 15 days, much less 45 days, is not going to work. Suicides and domestic violence are going to skyrocket if this continues.

Trump expressed hope of the country re-opening for Easter. Right now, I don't see this happening until at least July. And that's hoping this virus, like others, is susceptible to summer heat.

The answer is found in Scripture, but nobody wants to actually obey the Scripture:

Christians are forbidden to allow foreignors and the ungodly to be emplaced as rulers over us. If foreignors and the ungodly are emplaced in power over us it is because we have either utterly backslid as a nation and are under the judgment of God or it is because we have utterly backslid as a nation and have been conquered (also a judgment of God).

But that's water under the bridge, we've been in that situation for a long long time. So what is to be done?

The church is to be announcing to everyone and especially to the civil powers "the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord." In other words, the church is supposed to boldly proclaim to the government the Lordship and authority of Christ in ALL spheres and the revealed will of God as written in the Holy Bible.

And if governments refuse to submit to Christ and recognise His Sovereignty?
