Due to my symptoms I have to be seen in the tent outside. This is to prevent any potential COVID exposure to anyone inside.

Good morning from Northwest Arkansas

I don’t feel too bad. I had to come in to get a dr. to give time off until it passes or I would be released from my job.

Anyone coughing, sneezing, fever,,,, is no longer eligible for employment.

Pneumonia and back to work on Tuesday.

What happened to the 2 weeks off?

Sounds like walking pneumonia.

Vitamin c and d3. Sit in bathroom with shower of full hot and steam in there as long as you can. Or boil water in a pot and breathe the steam as much as you can take it. My wife had walking pneumonia and cured it that way, years ago. :thumbsup

:thumbsup

I've had walking pneumonia before. Took extra C and D3 like Esaias said, also did breathing exercises and made sure not to lay on my back too much.

Add some fresh eucalyptus plant to the shower if you can get some. Your lungs will sing. Otherwise, 100% pure essential oil of eucalyptus in a diffuser while you sleep will work well, too.

Well... a week ago

Vitamin C requires 1-2 grams every 1-3 hours until bowel tolerance, then maintain slightly less than that every couple of hours. Vit c does not stay in the system, hence the need for continuous dosing.

D3 takes a bit to build up in the system, 5-10 grams per day in single doses.

I am sitting at the drive thru clinic. The cough doesn’t go away. So, I have to request more time off of work.

I am not getting worse. But it doesn’t seem to be improving. Kinda just lingering.... costing me $$. :foottap

Praying. It is a good opportunity to thank him. When we do that, we are saying we completely trust that He is going to take care of us. You have that much faith.

Praying for your healing. What you are going through sounds miserable. Plus the mental strain of lost wages on top of everything.

That hospital is now out $40K ...

His insurance is going to be billed $0 for the test and $40K for administrative fees.

Ah, Canada. Where you have a 2 year wait for a personal doctor, and can spend an entire day in the E.R. and still not get help. Gotta love that socialized medicine.

I’ve known Canadians who where very pleased with their healthcare. Anyway... that’s a topic for another thread.

I’m getting restless here at the apt. I want to get back to work.

Wish you well, Diakonos, in Jesus name!

And I am surprised about how this was handled, often they look for any excuse to covid-ize the patient.

Looking ahead, if they ask for "permission" to do intubation, or ventilator, generally the recommended answer is no. There are other methods of oxygenation that are far less problemation, and far less invasive. A nurse and a doctor in the NYC area have spoken out about this problem.

How do you covid-ize a patient that doesn’t have covid?
