Wasn't there a thread years ago about refusing to have video cameras in the sanctuary? How many weddings, baby dedications weren't filmed due to that prohibition? Not saying it is right or wrong. But seems like there has been a lot of filming going on in places it was once verboten.

Who knows. I hope he smashed his smartphone, and flat screen. i was once told about a preacher who wouldn't even look at the flight monitors at the airport. I have no idea how true that was. It was probably made up. Or the preacher must of missed his flights a lot.

It is just funny to me that a movement who were dead set against glomming in a sanctuary are now having to do this in their place of worship.

During the thread I mentioned remembering pro and con television watchers didn’t allow filming ( or even photos) in the sanctuary. Yet some would allow pictures, while not allow filming. EB, I’m not sure there was a thread about this. There probably was. But it was reality in many churches, especially conservatives. I know what you mean. It was forbidden, as well as internet in general.

Some who preached against video, are now videoing.

There are some who preached against internet, who are now preaching on the internet. But, television? It’s still of the devil! Sometimes I just say “hmmm”.
