View Full Version : I Feel Good About Christmas!
My next Turkey feast is on Christmas and Boxing Day (Dec 26) see what you lost when you went independent? An extra day off! Anyways, I have a good Brother out of our home Church who is Pastoring in Pittsburgh. I am going to ask him if I can hire some guys from Pennsylvania to count my calories. They will get to 40, stop for the night, and when they start counting again, everything will be a no calorie!:happydance

Saint Stephen's Day? Well the United States ditched the tradition because this colony kicked out the British Empire. You see we didn't need a day off when we got rid of King George. But some of us aren't Catholics so we forgo Xmass. Saint Stephen's day (another Catholic mass) hidden under the name Boxing Day. Which has nothing to do with Mike Tyson, but has to do with the poor box in a church. In the Middle Ages the slaves were given a day off AFTER XMASS. All so the peasants could get a break. I guess maybe the United States frowned on that one because she was no longer subjugated to the British Empire, like the Canadians. But Ron, you don't need a special days to over eat. Do you exercise?

Don’t hold your breath on him sending you anything. I have yet to receive preaching cd’s that should have been postmarked 10 years ago.
