I need some serious prayer that my body will hold out. My manager riding with me is about 5 foot nothin 85 pounds soaking wet and me....well Im not...and Im talking sometimes nearly 200 packages handled...hopping out of the truck and power walking*cause I cant run physically* up flights of stairs and across yards.

My knees already had issues...my legs are slightly turned in like an inward bowlegged thing going and it puts even more pressure on my feet and knees...got shoes coming in but having major issues with knees, back and some lower stomach areas.

Im really going at it the best I can but Im having to rely on some energy pills to help me block out the pain so I can function and taking alieve every night.

Being in this much pain and struggling so hard is really putting me in a bad mental and emotional state...theres a lot on the line and a lot at stake folks.

I need HIS help in a major way.

Please pray for me and my family.

Just remembered that my first day was last Saturday and I was specifically asked at the interview about working 6 days a week...thatd make today my off day which is a well needed break. Absolutely no way I could go in today so that 6 day agreement covers my keister from having to call in an absence and also covers me if they try to get me to come in...itll at least give me an out where I won't get written up.

I dont think Ive ever been more relieved to have a day off.

Care for blisters:

*Soak feet in Epsom salt

*After they are dried and bandaged, coat any exposed skin on feet with a little vaseline to reduce friction

*Wear nice thick socks

After blisters are healed, apply vaseline under thick socks to eliminate friction and blisters

If you do go to a doctor you might see if they think taking Meloxicam might help. it is an anti-inflamatory that might help with the knees. It is prescribed for arthritis, tendonititis, etc . I t is not near as hard on your stomach as taking ibufroen. It is not recommended to take ibufrofen daily, only occasionally.

Thanks. Headed for lab work at 8am and then an orthopedist at 1030.

Got the Meloxicam...its not touching it. Getting MRI scheduled. The xrays showed no bone damage but the MRI is going to tell the tale. Headed to get my pay. Because of having the status as a independent contractor for FedEx I dont have any benefits like workers comp etc. From the location of the pain and the symptoms my money is on bilateral torn meniscus. To what degree and whether it will require surgery I don't know.

When we had our bad car wreck in August my wife had a lot of chest pain but x-rays didn't show anything. Days or weeks later when it persisted they did eitther a CT or MRI scan (I forget which) and it showed small fractures in multple ribs. Sometimes x rays can't show what is gonig on.

I hope they get it figured out. Regarding the meloxicam it is more of an anti inflamnatory medicine than a pain killer so over a few days it might help if the issue has to do with inflamation. It helps my arthritis and calcified shoulder tendon when they act up.
