Pray'n!
Wow. Thank all of you for your prayers-it does work! I've felt them.
I got to work about 7 AM this morning and while it isn't terribly busy, there was a few skids of work waiting to go out.
We are finishing up renovations on our expansion and an Electrician was asking if I could move some skids so he could work on a scissor lift to work on the ceiling.
I grabbed one of the portable electric pallet jacks to start moving a skid and was backing up when my left foot bumped into a skid, I tried to reverse the truck but it didn't stop in time and my foot went squished!
I quickly reversed the truck away, but man was the pain ever intense!!
While I was sitting at my computer typing the prayer request, I was feeling cold and clammy from the pain, sweat drenched my hair and forehead.
I felt extremely nauseated and mad at myself for making a stupid mistake.
I guess the coffee hadn't kicked in yet!:hypercoffee
The first aid person at work took me to a clinic, and then to a X-Ray Lab.
I am awaiting the results.
They suspect a severe sprain, a crack, or a fracture.
My foot is swollen and looks slightly disfigured.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
Your prayers made a difference!!!

Just got off the phone with the doctor and the X-Ray results are in.
A slight hairline fracture on the outside of the bone, but nothing out of place!
Thank God!
He said to use RICE!
Rest

Elevate
I will see on Friday if it is not swelling then they will put a boot cast on.

So, you.......
Eat the Rice, rest the ice and elevate the crutches? What do you do with the foot?

Spears at an aborigine wedding?
No, I wouldn't want to be in nursing. I think you have to wake up early in the morning. :D
Well, I am off to work.
Swelling is down and perhaps I can do "light" work!
Thanks for the prayers and continued prayers!

How' the foot feel'n?
Thanks fer asking. Actually I have wore, was wearing, and still am wearing Steel Toed Shoes, however they don't have steel Ankles which is where I got squished.
My foot is all Swollen, and black and blue from bruising. It is sore especially in the evening.
My doctor prescribed a Boot Cast to protect my foot.
WCB (Workers Compensation Board) is now saying they may not pay for it.
So much for the land of socialized medicine, huh.
