Can there be a situation where repentance means stop the sin, to the degree that the marriage itself must be dissolved?

I see no one, pastors or otherwise, taking a stand and preaching against adultery in any form. In conversation they will tell you ( in their view ) what adultery is not, but in preaching they will never tell you what it is!

No. Scripture does not teach the concept of perpetual adultery in a marriage.

To whom is the scripture referring when it states, " whosoever marries her that is put away shall be called an adulterer "?
Looks perpetual, as the only remedy would be to dissolve the union.
