She just said that in another thread and had to take off. He was taken there from camp. Who knows the severity but we should pray anyways

Lord, we don't know what the situation is with HO's son. We don't know if it is serious or if it is not. But we do know that YOU know. So, God, we entrust this child into Your loving hands. We know that You know so much more than even the doctors - so we feel confident that the best place for this boy right now is firmly in Your grasp. This is a young body that You crafted and formed to begin with, so why would we not believe that You can also heal whatever may be needed right now!

We also come to you on behalf of HO. As a mom, we know that the tendency will be for her to feel stressed and worried right now. Give her instead a spirit of peace and fearlessness. Assure her that YOU are in charge and that You love her son even more than she does.

We're looking forward to hearing about You doing a mighty work here, Father. And we're thanking You for it already. In Jesus' name. Amen

Jesus,

You know the situation. I join together with the other that have prayed and ask You, Lord, to meet the needs of this situation. Whatever the need, we confidently uplift HO's son in prayer. We are trusting You, Lord, to come through in this situation.
In Jesus' name I pray.

Thanks everyone. I'm just now seeing this thread and was shocked! But I'm humbled by your thoughts and your kindness.

My son is fine and he's back at camp. He was playing football and collided with another kid's forehead with his chin. The camp nurse said it was too bad for taping it, and after seeing it for myself, I agreed.

I took him to the ER but he was upset, as tonight was the last night of youth camp. He tried hurrying the doc but three hours and nine stitches later, we were just too late. But they had a special midnight service, and he was showered and dressed to go!

He has a 1-1 1/2 inch gash under his chin that had a hole in it that they had to stitch on the inside. He didn't wince or make a sound....I couldn't look.....LOL!

Thanks again everyone. It could have been worse, like chipping teeth or biting his tongue in two, but God was in control and left him with a minor battle scar.

He made me video about 75 seconds worth of stitching so he would watch......LOL!

But he made the tackle!

He's not in any pain, and we took the bandage off tonight and it looks great.

He hates that he can't shave though. He doesn't like stubble. LOL!

Thanks again to everyone. Subby, he might still have the stitches when I see you! I'll be in touch, I'm still not sure when I'm leaving.
