Simple Request

I hope this does not get stickied, because it is not too severe.

My Olds failed inspection, badly. She is putting out about 10X the normal emissions, and I need to trade her in. One dealer has some help for those, like me, who have had some really bad credit. I am currently on worker's comp for my left ankle, and so I need some prayer raised up for this.

It will cost me about 1200-1400 dollars to get the car repaired so as to pass inspection. I have already put about 4000-5000 worth of work into her, and she keeps breaking down. So, this has become my only alternative.

Please pray for me. I need reliable transportation badly to get to the doctor and therapy, as well as back to work soon.

In your situation I would just find a dishonest inspection place and get a sticker from them, but that is probably not the Christian thing to do. lol.

Sadly if your car was registered outside of the Houston area, ie. Grimes County, etc. there would not even be an emissions test.

I got a great car! I had a 2003 Saturn Ion financed, and am now driving in some serious luxury. They originally wanted 12,998 for her, but got her for 9,070. The notes are 260.28/month. Also bought a separate warranty for the beauty, that covers every single part of the car for three years or 36,000 miles. I pay a separate 135.00/month for 12 months on that separate from the car note. Had to get full coverage insurance, and thought is gonna cost me much more.

But, talk about timing. When I tried to get my old car to the dealer, she was sluggish and without power. When I brought the new car home, I parked her in a different spot from where the old car was that morning. When I looked at the ground where the old car was, it was covered with oil. The engine blew this morning, so I was blessed by the Lord just in time!

Well, Brother, I read your first post at around 10:45 pm EDT and I prayed for God's provision for you. Then I went on down through the replies and saw your post about your new car. I thought that was a quick answer but then I saw that your original post was this morning so that prayer was answered before I even saw it and prayed about it.

Now I pray that your ankle will get well, you'll get back to work, and that God will provide those payments for you.
